Hello!
My name is Marieke, I’m from Holland and am visiting a friend in Durban, South Africa. I’d love to see Blaz and Adreja dance or even take classes with them. Can you tell me when they will be in Durban? Any information would be much apreciated.
Thank you for organising the last week with Blaz and Andrea. They are wonderful teachers and a jlovely to watch. I hope they enjoyed being here as much as we enjoyed meeting them. Most of all I appreciated the fact that they did not cook up a whole lot of obscure sequences to fob off on us but focussed on style and opportunity to express the dance in terms of the music and the interaction with one’s partner. If they produce a video of their time here I would like to buy a copy.
Peace and happiness to all tango friends for Christmas and the New Year.
I saw you on a video clip on YOU TUBE and would like to know, where you give classes round germany, switzerland, austria or adria, especially concerning electro tango!
thanks for mailing back.
Many thanks for all your effort and trouble to arrange the classes with Blaz & Andrea this past week. It was really amazing and I think those who didn’t attend missed out BIG TIME! The mind-shift for me was mainly in relation to the difference between the parallel and cross systems and how the basics of balance / axis and technique play such a crucial role in the dynamics of the nuevo tango (mind you, for that matter the traditional tango as well). They really are amazing teachers and excellent communicators in how they manage to explain the detail of the technique. For everything there was a clear reason or consequence and understanding the detail greatly impacts the enjoyment and dynamics of the actual dance. I don’t think there are a lot of teachers who can keep one’s attention for 2 and a half hours non-stop! The challenge is now to apply the knowledge.
Hope you have a nice rest now and enjoy some family time and be refreshed for 2008, which is just around the corner!
